My friend Amanda Nadelberg and I were invited to interview each other about our recent books—Amanda’s Bright Brave Phenomena and my O Bon—for The Conversant, an online archive of interviews, talks, and conversations between poets and artists. In response, we excerpted 200+ sentences from our emails to each other, and made an accompanying 30-minute soundtrack, featuring songs by Bob Dylan, Widowspeak, Mount Eerie, Times New Viking, ALAK♡, MV + EE, PJ Harvey, Bruce Springsteen, and Women, with a special appearance by our eight year-old friend Xia Bernheimer Hendricks.
