Sheriff: 56 exotic animals escaped from farm near Zanesville; 49 killed by authorities
dispatch.comit is upsetting to see all these beautiful creatures dead, but do people honestly believe that Muskingum County has an arsenal of tranquilizers or training to capture over 50 exotic animals..we aren’t talking about a contained incident, families live in that area. Luckily, no one was hurt and some animals were saved. The situation is horrible but it could have been alot worse. I’m only a county away and I would have freaked out if I saw a lion on my lawn!

1.seiu.orgLast week, The Columbus Dispatch ran two articles on poverty in Ohio: “Grim report on Ohio poverty holds hope of turnaround” and “Number of families struggling continues to grow in Ohio.” The facts in these articles are stunning, especially when contrasted with the corporate profits brought in here. In Columbus alone, Fortune 1000 companies headquartered here took home $7.6 billion in profit last year – so why aren’t Ohioans doing better?
According to the Dispatch, more than 42 percent of Ohioans with incomes below the federal poverty level have either full-time or part-time jobs. Columbus janitors are among the thousands of working people who fall into this category.
68-Thousand-Dollar Mistake

COLUMBUS, Ohio - An Ohio county will pay more than $68,000
to families whose dead children got mixed up by the morgue,
resulting in the wrong one being cremated.
Franklin County commissioners in Columbus approved the
settlements on Tuesday, including $50,000 for the family of a
14-month-old boy who was cremated by mistake and against his
parents’ religious beliefs. The Columbus Dispatch reports
(http://bit.ly/mSMe8K ) another $18,500 will go to the family of a
22-day-old boy whose family wanted cremation.
An employee of the county coroner’s office released the older
child’s body to the wrong funeral home, which performed the
cremation.

The Associated Press
So I did this interview with The Columbus Dispatch over the phone about Pottermore last Wednesday and I just got an email saying it’ll run in the Saturday paper and they’re sending a photographer from the newspaper to come take pictures of me (and Pottermore) and they specifically want me to wear Slytherin clothes (because I ranted about how I’m in Slytherin and how sorting was a life or death situation).

The Other Paper is Dead. Long Live The Other Paper.
theotherpaper.comIn other news: FUCK THIS.
So we got this letter in the mail.
Hey,
What happened to us? We used to be inseparable? Now it seems like we just can’t find the time. I miss our time together. Sundays were the best. We would sit down over a cup of coffee to catch up…
I know I’m not the best listener, but our time together always left us wanting fulfilled. :)
What do you say we start getting together again? I can drop by on Sundays and we can spend some quality time together. It would be just like old times. I can come by more often than Sundays, but I don’t want yo be a pest.
Please call me, e-mail me, or write me.
I miss you and want you back!
Always and forever <3
