this morning I am giving thanks for health insurance and the ability to get medical care that I need + the capacity of compassion + plants happily growing in their new permanent home in my garden + my extremely close relationship with my mom- she is my best friend + the stair master + sitting outside at dusk + my neighbors Beth and tony who are simply the best + the people who carry me + our hops growing like mad + bare legs + sperry’s + this coming weekend + dr bronner’s coconut oil + starting our kitchen remodel - having the means to make this project a reality + sleeping with the windows open hearing a [safe] summer storm + fresh local eggs + lambs quarter + tea before bed + sun kissed face + today right now
tonight I am thankful for the whole foods deli counter + my legs that carried me on tonight’s fast run + sauvignon blanc in my wine glass + farmers markets returning + outdoor gardening season returning + the smell of fresh cut grass + lilacs blooming + friends that are willing to help out + my new shoes + brightly colored tablecloths + hugs with family + hip hop + open windows + ponytails + love + today
