do you speak french fluently?

Ohhhh no! I’ve studied it for about 12-13 years, but never intensely; I was never forced to use it so everything I learned was very textbook. I could live in France and communicate, navigate, and strike conversation comfortably, and could possibly become fluent in a few months or so, but unfortunately I can’t see myself being there for that long! I’m confident with speaking, reading, and writing, but appalling at anything more than basic tense grammar. I love and miss studying it, no matter how hard it got towards the end of sixth form.
