Did Sasuke know what he was doing? Wasn’t it a pure contradiction to his pride and the most important thing for him, beside revenge? He was acting out of the ordinary, way too strange. Karin knew that she shouldn’t think that she was someone special to him. It would only cause pain, new pain she couldn’t deal with anymore. She wanted happiness and joy in her life, not darkness and misery. Living in the light was so much better than she had thought. After all those years with Orochimaru she had completely forgotten how it was to do something she wanted to do and to not do anything others wanted her to do for them.
And now he invaded her life again, just as sudden as he had done years ago. She hoped he would leave and at the same time she hoped that he stayed, hoped that he would say something so she could enjoy his deep voice once more. Her face, however, showed nothing but anger and pain. He had hurt her and he needed to see it.
She stood up and turned around to face him again, brushing off the bit of dust on her knees. Long legs carried her a little bit closer and she felt her heart beat a little faster. Oh how much she hated this. “What do you want?”, she repeated, running a hand through her soft red hair in annoyance.

Hazel eyes peeked through the window blinds, looking out for any signs of headlights. After a while of not seeing each other since he’d been in New York, Puck was finally back in Lima and wanted to talk. Did it make Kitty nervous? Sure it did. Even though he could occasionally be boring and/or annoying, over the time they’d been together she’d actually grown to like him a bit. People have been trying to put a strain on their relationship, but she didn’t believe that he could’ve cheated on her. He was a good guy, if not a little oblivious.
There were a few options with what he wanted to talk about. He either wanted to talk about him moving to New York and the future of their relationship, or he wanted to break up with her. If that was the case, she would be able to tell by his body language right off the bat and since she is not a girl to get dumped, she’d just tell everyone that she broke up with him, just like she did with his younger brother. Having gotten lost in her thoughts, she was startled by the doorbell ringing. Making her way over to the door, she opened it and greeted him, “Hey, come in. What did you wanna talk about?” After he walked in, she closed the door behind them both and placed her hands on her hips.
