“Please God, supply me with what I want,” the suppliant asks each day.
Jummah Mubarak.
There was a time in my life when I would sit and make dua’a for about 4 minutes after every single prayer. Fajr-Isha, after every prayer I would make dua’a to the point where I would cry and beg Allah (swt) to provide me with that which I wanted. I did it for quite some time, all in all, it was over 1,000 times that I asked Allah (swt) for such thing to happen, over 1,000 prayers and dua’as. In the end, what I had asked for did not occur. As soon as I realized that it wasn’t happening, I felt a strong sense of love and connection with Allah (swt) because I knew that with His infinite knowledge, He was protecting me from something I could not see.
