Earlier today I won tickets to see Circa Survive at the Summit Music Hall in Denver. I was really excited because it’s been ages since I’ve seen them live and wanted to hear them play their newer material live.
Hearing them play tracks from Juturna and On Letting Go truly brought be back to the golden ages of MySpace and having to sift through music to find the perfect songs to accentuate my profile. The band blew me away, as always, giving back the same amount of energy that the crowd was feeding them.
It was honestly one of those shows where you could tell that the audience was there for the experience - not to record every moment on their iPhone or iPad. If you haven’t I would strongly suggest checking them out live. Check out their website for their remaining tour dates and music.
