I guess this is what I get for not having any math classes for a year and a half.

Total tutor shut down.

Lovely.

Teacher Chichi 8D

This summer, I volunteered to teach arts and crafts classes to kids in our foundation (ADF). I taught digital illustration for arts and fabric jewelry for the crafts. Haha. My classes lasted for 2 weeks, with around 90-100 students/kids per subject, at least 25 students per class. I’m not really used to teaching, but I had so much fun!

The little “classroom” I set up, haha.

Our digital illustrations class focused on SAI Paint Tool more than anything, heheh, since it’s practically the easiest to learn, especially for newbies and kids, LOL.

A cellphone charm project I made in handicrafts class using some fabric jewelry techniques. We made brooches, hairclips, corsages, bracelets, you name it! HAHA. A little girl even made a bag out of cute little fabric flowers. Oh, the creativity of children! :D

So far, this is probably the most fruitful summer I’ve ever had. :) Selfless giving sure feels GOOD! :)

How I feel about getting back to work for summer classes:

But now, I have to take Organic Chemistry (lecture and lab) over the summer and the class starts in 2 weeks.

What is Bobo Moment?

Yesterday, binigyan kami ng requirement ng NTC Prof namin. She was telling us the format and shiz..

Ma’am Saplan: Put it in a short bondpaper. Tahoma, 11, 1.5 spacing.
Me: *typing on my phone what she just said*
Ma’am Saplan: Again, short bondpaper ha. Pag may magpass sa’kin ng long, nako talaga. Tahoma, 11, 1.5 spacing.
Me: Ma’am, question.
Ma’am Saplan: Yes?
Me: Encoded Ma’am?
Class: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Aray ko po T_T Hahahahahahahahahahaha sorry na kasi. Hahahahahahaha bobo moment oshit. Hahahahahahaha T___T

Which reminds me.. it’s already 9:42. Overtime na ako sa Tumblr. Hahaha. I should start doing my requirements naaa. :)

4|6|11: First day of summer class

image

(with Jha Cadiente) First day of Summer Class, what would I expect… late nanaman ang mga teachers o di kaya absent. According to our first sched. print out, our first subject will be at 1:00-3:00 pm but because of the late announcement of changes we went at school on the said time instead of 9:15-10:45. err Now, it’s earlier at least not 7 o’clock. I think, sinusulit pa niya ang summer… anyways there are rumors that this teacher is not good at teaching though he gave high grades to his students even though natutulog lang sa klase. Sana mapasa namin nang one take ang mga subjects na to. Kakapagod ng pabalikbalik.

As of now, I’m doing well and my grades are good too…
goodluck sa amin! :D

Future

The past few days„ I’ve been thinking a lot about what I want in the future, career-wise. I saw an ad for Hallmark Institute of Photography a few nights ago. I got really really interested in it. It’s photography course is 10 months, they say its literally putting 2 years of course work into 10 months. It looks like a place I would love to go and something I would really enjoy.. but it is MAD expensive. I’m still thinking about it; I won’t be able to go there until after I graduate here anyways. They called me the day after I requested a catalog which was crazy but cool I think. So now I’m waiting for the catalog to be sent to my dorm. The catalog is GORGEOUS by the way. I talked to my mom about this school, and because it is very expensive, I’m gonna try taking photography classes here in Albany. I’m really considering doing an art minor concentration in photography (obvs.) So I’m gonna stay in Albany for the first part of the summer. I’m gonna take art classes; my schedule is gonna be really packed. It’s going to be two classes, basic photography and digital imaging from 9 to 12 and basic drawing from 1 to 4.. and that is EVERY WEEK DAY. hahahahaha yea…. I feel like I’m gonna go mad. I’m gonna see these two teachers 5 days a week.. for 3 hours each day. It’s gonna be CRAZY! But at the same time, I think I’ll enjoy it. Well photography I’ll definitely enjoy.. but drawing… ehh it’ll be annoying from time to time. I have to look into the SLR cameras.. because I want it as soon as I can, I’ll definitely need it for the summer class.

Anyways, I gotta go. Laundry finishing, gotta shower, and look at cameras. :D

RF: May Summer Class ako.

Oy ah! :))

Earlier in Clinical Teaching Strategies in Health Education..

Oo, kailangang complete ang subject namin. Copy-pasted pala yan. Di ko kasi memorize. Ang alam ko lang is NCT. Harhar. So anyway..

Ma’am Saplan: *discussing a boring topic about NCT.*
Ma’am Saplan: *gives us an example that we can all relate* Tulad ng mga lalake.. takot na kayong magmahal dahil iniisip niyong “Mga lalake talaga! Pare-parehong manloloko..”
Me: Pareparehong mga paasa! Mga gago!
Ma’am Saplan: *looks at me* At talagang may pinanghuhugutan siya, ano?
Class: *laughs*

Why I love being seated in the front row, near the aisle. I like it when teachers hear my opinion. Sometimes [well most of the time] I like to joke around kasi e. Hahaha. So yown :-j

Econom-dix

I started an Intermediate Macroeconomics course on Wednesday because, you know, I enjoy pain. Actually I’m strongly considering an Econ minor (to go along with the Political Communication major and journalism minor) because I enjoy reading financial and economics stories, and I semi-enjoyed AP econ in high school.

Well, the professor (who missed class on the first day…) e-mailed us to order to 6th edition of our textbook. When I looked for the 6th edition online — Amazon and the Univ bookstore — there was only the 5th edition, so I bought that.

The 5th edition first chapter tells a rosy tale of the US economy though…because it was published in 2007. Unemployment below 5 percent! Increasing growth rates! Low inflation!

Whoops. This book is much happier than the 6th edition would be.
