Set timer for twelve minutes. Don’t know how long I actually sat for, but by a rough estimate, it was probably close to twenty. I forgot to change the sound settings on my phone when I set the timer.
Chatterbrain was less active today. Still there, but he seems to be learning that there’s a time and place for everything.
Emptiness.
Breathing.
I became aware of some of the more subtle uncomfortable sensations in my body: the pain in my torso, sinus discomfort, stiffness in my hips and legs.
I began thinking about her after a while.

Focus became tired, chatterbrain jumped at the opportunity.
