Letting Go (Kadam Fic)
Summary: Kurt knows that in order to be with Blaine, he has to let Adam go.

This is all Ali’s fault.
Having Adam’s head on his chest is… different. Not wrong or awkward or uncomfortable, just different. The weight is different, and so is the shape under Kurt’s fingers as he gently strokes along his cheekbones. Adam’s face is much more square than Blaine’s, blocky and thick. And Kurt actually… likes it. A lot.
“You’re comfy.” Adam murmurs into the material of Kurt’s sweater, snuggling closer and twining their legs together even more than they already are.
Kurt moves his hand from Adam’s warm cheek and brings it to his hair, running his fingers through the blonde curls and watching Adam’s eyes close peacefully, breath even.
He’s kind of beautiful, laying here like this on top of Kurt’s bed, tiny slivers of sunlight stretched gold across his face.
“You’re cute.” Kurt replies in almost a whisper, and a sleepy grin crosses Adam’s face.
