“Our true spiritual condition is to be measured first and foremost by the inner person, the heart, and not by the external person, the habits. Why? Because habits or overt behavior are the the products of the condition of the heart. (see Mark 7:14-23)”

“The greatest change seems to happen when we stop trying to change, and sink creatively into the mystery of the moment.”

—Jeff Foster

“Every time you are tempted to react in the same old way, ask if you want to be a prisoner of the past or a pioneer of the future”

—Deepak Chopra

Sound is more important than language.

Vibrations are more important than words.

Feelings are more important than thoughts,

Because without these more important things, we would not have these lesser things. These lesser things are the things that cause us grief. Lets go back to our Astral ways….because to feel is to understand…. and to over-analyze is to hinder your happiness.

“Most of us have at least one area of life where we feel we have to struggle. Maybe its in our relationships. Maybe its in our spiritual practice. Maybe its in our work or vocation. A lot of us have struggle baked into our cells, cascading through our neurons in the form of cortisol and other stress chemicals. We think that if we aren't struggling, we won't make breakthroughs. Nothing will turn out right. Maybe no one will love us. But its actually possible to make appropriate effort without tying yourself in knots. The next time you feel yourself clenching over a possible outcome, try asking yourself, 'Am I in a state of struggle? Can I let it go?' At first, you might have to do this twenty times an hour. But after a while, it will become natural. It always surprises me how much better things turn out when you remember to turn off the struggle button. Even hard times become easier, because when you let go of struggle, you begin to feel how the current of life is willing to carry you.”

“It is very difficult to be like the other guy, to be ordinary. Mediocrity takes a great deal of energy. But to be ourselves is very easy. You don't have to do a thing.”

—Krishnamurti (U.G. , aka the cool one)

Sidelines

so after reading The Host…I split human beings into two “beings”

the “Feeler” and the “Observer”.

Today Boris and David were dueling and I noticed something extraordinary.

I could nearly read their minds.

Standing on the side lines I wasn’t feeling their game, I was just observing.

To test my cockyness I said the facedown card David would activate the second before he did. Three times out of Three times I got it right.

It’s no wonder we are able to give advise to other people so easily but can’t to ourselves.

If we can live life with both the observer and feeler in control at all times..that would be well extraordinary,

I’d be able to not only give myself advise - but follow it too.

The answer to every situation is already in my head.

The answer is found in Silence...

Who are you?

If your body is a vehicle, then you are not that.

If you are able to watch the shenanigans of your mind, then you are not your mind.

Your roles in this world change often, sometimes at the drop of a hat (pun intended).

So if you are not all those things, then become silent and remember…

Breathe deeply and slowly and turn your attention inside in this moment, beyond the mind, beyond the emotional fluctuations, beyond the worries of circumstance…

… Are you Love? Are you divine Energy? Can you remember? The answer is found in Silence and then reflected all around you…

Namaste, beautiful spirit. <3
