Serengtee

It’s not often that you have the opportunity to do something you enjoy but also help others at the same time. Recently I was offered a position to simply help a company advertise their products through modeling and social media. This is something that I always enjoy doing but this time it is especially rewarding.

Serengetee. Serengetee was founded by a group of college friends while they were traveling the world on Semester at Sea. This is a clothing company comprised of mostly t-shirts and tank tops for both genders coming in only black and white. The twist is that there is a patch on each clothing item over the left breast that comes in all different patterns and colors.

Now the patch is the most interesting part, being so because this is what helps people. Serengetee’s mission is to help others by using fabric from local artisans across the world. By purchasing a clothing item you are supporting that local artisan and also 13% of the profit then goes to a global cause. Patterns come from all over the world such as Asia, Africa, New Zealand, South America, and more.

I strongly suggest that you visit their website, facebook page, whatever it may be and check out what they’re working on over there. It’s safe to say you’ll enjoy it.
