Alright, since so many people are now clogging my askbox with this.
First of all ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I am not anyone’s handler. I am not a tag handler either.
While I’m quite proud to say that yes, I did start the SPGfic tags here on Tumblr, and while yes I did start the Steam Powered Giraffe tag on AO3, it is not my job to police them.
The ONLY policing I do on them is ask people who don’t tag their fics, to tag them. And the only reason I do that is because I’m a selfish bastard who likes to read them.
Simple fact of the matter is, the main tags of SPG and Steam Powered Giraffe move too fast, and fics get lost. So putting them in the SPGfic tag makes it easier to find them.
