    Modà - Sono già solo

Moda accompanied Emma Marrone (more to come on her in the future) to San Remo this year, with the song arrivera. I have to admit I wasn’t their biggest fan in San Remo this year. (I didn’t care of many of the participants to be honest. I also don’t agree with the fact that Emma was fresh off of Amici and was able to participate in the official part, when they know full well that she’ll get voted by all the teenyboppers because she was on the show. But that’s a different story for another day.) I’m actually a fan of them by themselves though. They do great charity work, which is not what most groups would be doing with their fame. Their pop-rock genre also really suits them.

The members of the Italian band Modà are Francesco Silvestro-vocalist; Diego Arrigoni-guitarist; Stefano Forcella-bassist; Henry Enrico Zapparoli-acoustic guitarist and Claudio Dirani-drummer.

All come from different musical backgrounds, but their love of the pop-rock with enthusiasm enables them to pursue the same dream. The core around which develops the music of Fashion is represented by songs written by Kekko, founding member of the group.

In early 2005 the career of Modà makes an important new step: participation in the youth section at the Sanremo festival. The experience is very educational for the six boys, and allows them to undertake an intensive tour in Italy and in this way, more people come into contact with the fashion world and begin the journey to support the band. Of particular importance is the participation in the concert for Italian pilgrims held in the stadium in Cologne in August 2005 during the World Youth Day; Modà had ever played in front of an audience so vast, and the fact of presenting the song “Clouds rock “(which tells of the difficulties and fears they have encountered during their music) fills the children of pride. In November the same year they receive the important prize “La Torretta” in recognition for their charitable work, the band is in fact always been very active in fundraising for charitable purposes (the first concert for the parish of their country, with concerts in to associations as “Avis”, “ADMO”, “Parents of heart” and others).
