This was so stupid. What even happened to us? When did we start drifting apart, to the point that we completely just lost what we had.
Wiping away my tear-strained cheeks, my hands, I notice, are slightly shaking. How I wish he were to here to hold them. I felt cold and needed his warmth, needing to rest my head on his chest and have his arms wrapped protectively around me.
