I adore my body. I relish the fact that I have been born with such soft skin and such dark eyes. Over the years, I’ve gathered my scars. Some of them you can see and touch, many of them are too deep. I’ll only show you small glances. Only some parts. But I’ll keep the secrets. I’ll keep the hurt and the cold. I’ll wither away in the wind, drown in the sea. This form, this very fragile canvas is a gift. These fingers that touch you, this heart that wants to beat with yours — they are for you alone. I leave it all to you.
You've Got Something Between Your Legs | Jas + Lorelei
She couldn’t understand why Arielle had chosen this life, it was strange and queer and absolutely confusing. Lorelei had stood in the rock pools with water lapping at her ankles, looking down at her own body. She knew what her torso looked like off by heart, but instead of purple scales she now had incredibly long slender legs and… something else between her thighs she’d never seen before. What was that exactly? She pawed around it, but it didn’t seem to have any use and it looked rather ugly too. But no matter, Lorelei was here to follow her best friend and soon, she would find Gabe and find out where Arielle was hiding.
Lorelei pushed her shoulders back and stood straight, plucking the little starfish off of her breasts and tossing them back into the water behind her. With a wobbly leg, she took her first steps and before long, she was running.
It was an incredible feeling, fresh air on her skin, her long black hair whipping behind her like a billowing cape. She felt strange, moving with her feet and not with her tail, as you could not lay down in the air here. Or you would fall.
Lorelei pushed through trees and bushes, leaves whipping her in the face and dirt soaking between her toes. Naked as a baby, she came to the edge of the forest. Trees were just like seaweed, except hard and they didn’t move. Some of them were much taller than others, but as she ran through the trees she felt like she was emerged in giant kelp.
Eventually though, she heard things. Sounds she had not really heard before and when she poked her head out from behind a tree, she saw a man. A human man! He sat on top of a big box with wheels, a long string in his hand and animals whinnying when he hit them with the string. Her green eyes were wide with astonishment, this was incredibly bizzare. She noticed people walking around as well, but they were not naked, not like she was. She looked down at her chest and back up at the ladies she saw walking, their beautiful bodies stuffed into material clothing. That was strange. Perhaps that’s what Lorelei had to do too to fit in.
She bit her lip and looked around, seeing a small barricade made of wood. She came forward and grabbed onto it, climbing with gangly new limbs over top of the fence and practically collapsed in the grass on the other side. She picked her head up, blowing hair out of her eyes . She was behind a house, but her eyes were glued to some sheets blowing in the wind. Ah, clothing! Lorelei picked herself up and strut her way up to one of them, yanking it off the line and admiring it out in front of her, tilting her head this way and that. Soon, she then stuffed her arms in it all ways until it seemed to fit right.
