Opening new office of Sole Technology Inc. : 'A positive impact on youth culture'

Last Thursday Sole Technology celebrated the opening of their new office in Amsterdam. So I went to the party on invitation. I was pretty curious because
I didn’t really knew the company that well but it made it more interesting to get to hear the story behind the company though.

Sole Technology is founded by monsieur Pierre André Senizergues. Yes it’s hard to prenounce, Pierre was born in France and moved to the U.S. in ‘85. He started skateboarding at the age of fiveteen and since that time he created the love and passion for the sport. Short after he moved to the States he turned pro in skateboarding. He won twelve French Championships, nine European Cup Titles, five European Championships, two World Cup titles and one World Championship.

My goal is to leave the right footprint with Sole Technology. We’ve become a leader through the intelligence and hard work of our team of people. We strive for innovation and excellence in all we do. Together, we keep growing the right way in a healthy organic process.

He Challenged himself in another way after winning these several titels. He started designing shoes. The brand ‘Etnies’ was born; he styled the shoes with a blend of fashion and durability unique in the industry. His empire started get shape and in the early 90’s he launched three new brands: És, Emerica and ThirtyTwo. He consolidated the four brands under the Sole Technology umbrella. In 2006 he launched the latest brand: Altamont Apparrel. The action sports footwear, apparel and accessories are renowned for comfort, style, function, innovation and durability.

Etnies also just launched a new shoe: the ‘Marana’, what do you guys think?
