i’ve seen talk and confusion regarding this post 

~management didn’t “make” him cross it out

it wasn’t crossed out so as to avoid having people think he was gay

it was crossed out because using that word as an insult is Not Okay

and given the context, with the other words on the sign all being insults, it was clearly being used as an insult

it’s unfortunate that it even needed to happen in the first place just as it’s unfortunate that we still live in a world where people think it’s okay to use the word “gay” as an insult 

because it’s not, not in the slightest, even when it’s in a “joking” manner

he (or whoever it was that crossed it out if it wasn’t him) did the best thing that could have been done given the situation and it’s refreshing to see that kind of awareness and it makes me proud

glee you seem to have missed the fact that the only reason the warblers were popular among the fans in season 2 was because blaine was a part of them
