• i bought a purple, velvet jacket - a dream i’ve had for almost a year, and it has literally come true
• finally i went thrift store shopping, finding many items i wanted
• alice ripley followed me on twitter (so i sang “so much better”)
• i went to the met and had a lot of fun looking at art and feeling fancy
• spent the day with new friends, who are a lot of fun
• did not feel really sad or hopeless all day/felt like all will be okay
• i got un-broken up lololol. wait, too soon.

I confronted the Teacher about my little situation. Apparently Pages is the main Apple word processing application and I had no idea.  I’m just a silly goose.  What?! I’m not an Apple person! Don’t judge!  But he is letting me take one of his two iPads with me on my trip. 

So.  I’m all good now.  I feel way better about taking classes and traveling now that I don’t have to lug my laptop around and I figured out a way not to have to lug my 12 pound Theory and Criticism around.
