I love imagining what “Smauggggggloccccccck” sounds like. I imagine it’s like Homer Simpson’s donut noise…

I wish I had magical properties to fix things, then I could go *poof* and fix your hand! But Smauglock looks amazing, and I can’t wait to see the fully colored version!!

Thank you all for the well-wishes! My thumb still hurts, but the entire hand doesn’t hurt anymore, so I’m back to painting up Smauglock! I’m hoping to get it done while in line for Harry Potter!

This is a strange post

I didn’t post all the posts today! Weird, I know.

My mother and I randomly watched some Doctor Who because she wanted to know more about River Song and I remembered how much I LOVE Donna/Ten

Worked a theatah shift I’ve never worked. Loved it. Great coworkers, customers, and tips.

When I called Jules tonight, she was looking at Smauglock goodies. When she said she was getting two things I knew exactly which two*.

I can’t wait to get myself a Smauglock bag…maybe a coffee cup…and probably hoodie or long sleeve shirt.

I am running out of excuses to investigate that Resident Artist position in Tuscany…just to see when the next available term is at least.

Probably not until Fall 2012 or so, which would be good.

There is no harm in asking.

And applying.

And if I get accepted and go there’s nothing wrong with a last hurrah before the big move for grad school, right?

Most of my local friends are really really lame these days. Having trouble finding time for me in their “busy” schedules. I am not asking them to find time, I never do, they are just saying we should hang out or I should call them and then flaking out when I make an effort.

I need better friends.

Oh wait. I have them. They are just sprinkled around the world and not here.
