Meta Monday: Smallclothes
Chett made a sound that was half a laugh and half a sob, and suddenly his smallclothes were wet, and he could feel the piss running down his leg, see steam rising off the front of his breeches.
Today’s topic is smallclothes. What the heck are smallclothes? Underwear of some kind based on their description, but they give this medievalist pause. Did medieval people wear undergarments or are they purely an invention of GRRM?

There were two definitions of ‘smallclothes’ - breeches, or underpants. I went with underpants. ENJOY. LOLBULGE. I got so many weird looks from Josh’s friends… (at their house atm).

So I just had to look up “smallclothes” because of something my dear Armada is writing and the website asked me “What made you want to look up smallclothes? Please tell us where you read or heard it (including the quote, if possible).”
And, well, it involved a certain Mr Holmes doing, um, something with Mr Watson’s “smallclothes” so, uh, no, I will not be including the quote, thank you very much Merriam-Webster online.
