bringing my obsessions together is always fun!

so i’ve been following this crafting/DIY/beauty/stuff youtuber for a while now (secretlifeofabionerd! she’s awesome! go check her out!) and recently she did a tutorial for bracelets made out of big hoop earrings.
on the flip side, i’ve also picked up watching the anime Bleach again. i just got to the part where Orihime gets abducted by the Arrancar for Aizen’s use and study. Uliquiorra gives her this beautifully simple bracelet that makes her undetectable and essentially a ghost. the bracelet is just a thin silver bangle with a gap and small ball on each end, and a delicate chain joining the two ends of it. i wish i could find a picture of it to show you all but just take my word for it?

it sounds super easy to make so i think i might try it! any DIY’ers have any tips for jewelry work or working with metal in general? i have access to most of the tools i would need.
