- F: He ran a hand over his dusty face as he made his way to the communications tent. Their unit had just gotten it a few days ago but he'd been out on a mission and had been unable to take advantage of it. He was on his second tour of duty and he hadn't thought it would be, but it was harder this time. He was six months in on an eighteen month deployment and he was already weary and just wanted to get back to base. And he wanted some damn leave time to visit his wife. He nodded to PFC Leman as he dropped himself down in front of the computer and prayed that Rachel would be at home - he knew it was the middle of the day but he didn't think she had afternoon classes on Thursdays - or was she done with class by now? Had he missed her graduation? Shaking his head, he signed into his account and double-clicked on her name, praying she would answer.
