Dazed & Confused | Jan 2004 | The Illustrated Issue 

To tie in with this week’s 10th anniversary Frieze Art Fair London, we’ve resurrected our Jan 2004 cover featuring a collage created by infamous British pop-artist Peter Blake. The compilation includes artwork and photography featuring Bill Murray, M.I.A., Scarlett Johansson, Johnny Cash and Robert Palmer.

Our visual arts editor Francesca Gavin interviewed Sir Peter Blake whereby the cover artist took us  on a journey through the story of creating Sgt. Peppers album to his passion for collecting things, which he said was all about “…the idea that you can pick up a group of rubbish and make something beautiful

“WORKS by international artists Yoko Ono, Sir Peter Blake, Noel Fielding and Stuart Sutcliffe will be brought together in a group exhibition at the Museum of Liverpool. The exhibition will run from September 28 to November 25, with the auction taking place on November 17. Part of the show will be displayed in the Skylight Gallery at The Museum of Liverpool, which celebrates its first birthday today. MORE details at www.liverpoollove.org”
