Comic question.

I’m working on a silent comic probably 30-40 pages more or less. Mainly for practice but I’m still going to try and finish it, I only have maybe 10 pages close to finished at the moment.
I’m wondering what peoples opinions are on silent comics. Do you find them hard to get into? or hard to follow without words or sound effects? Do you find them less interesting?
I know there are a lot of good silent comics out there but they probably aren’t read as much as normal comics.
