This is the newest song released from Sigur Rós’ upcoming album Kveikur. I immediately fell in love with it. I’ve been really curious about this album, especially since Kjartan is no longer a part of the band, and I’m so excited about the direction they’re going in. Sigur Rós has once again created something completely incredible and otherworldly, something that makes me feel like I’m floating away and coming back to earth all at the same time. I did my best to translate the lyrics from the video they posted earlier today, and doing so made me appreciate this song even more. Everything about this is gorgeous and I cannot wait until June when I can hold this album in my hands and listen to it on repeat for days on end.
