why do people say that people aren’t ‘true fans’ of pokemon if they’re not a fan of the original 151? 

yeah, the kanto region is cool, but my god, the red and blue games fucking sucked compared to the newer ones coming out. you have way less pokemon to capture in kanto, the graphics in red and blue sucked ass, and don’t tell me they didn’t compared to what they’re doing today with black and white two, and you didn’t have much to do in pokemon red and blue after defeating the elite four. 

then there’s the anime. yeah, it’s gone downhill. but you know who it’s meant for right now? more younger kids. of course you probably wouldn’t enjoy it anymore, because the first pokemon anime you watched i’m betting were the KANTO REGION episodes when you were about TEN FUCKING YEARS OLD. i’m pretty damn sure you wouldn’t enjoy the newer episodes since the older ones aired about thirteen to fourteen years ago in the united states. 

tldr: stop being a fucking prick about the fans of the newer pokemon. it doesn’t make me less of a fan for liking the newer pokemon, and it doesn’t make you more of a fan for not liking them. take off your pokemon hipster glasses and stfu. because, in the end, it’s a mother fucking game where you train monsters, and the basic plot and storyline is all the fucking same no matter what game you play.
