There is a HUGE difference between “I don’t ship that, but that’s okay because not everyone ships what I do” and “PEOPLE ACTUALLY SHIP *insert ship name here*?!?!? ROFL, WHAT IDIOTS” Having a different ship than someone else is okay, ship hate is not

All the Mako/Makorra hate I'm seeing is so boring

Guys, it’s a kids show. Do you not remember Kataang? How is was absurdly obvious? With the blushing? And the sparkly love vision? And the Cave of the Two lovers? And the jewelry making? And the kissing? And the “I can’t let go of Katara! I love her!” all the time? The never ending diabetes-inducing sweetness?

You really want to sit there and gripe that “Makorra feels forced”? Forced how? Forced as in “really fucking obviously endgame basically all the time”? Because that’s kind of how Avatar romance works.

If we look at Avatar Haruk, Avatar Roku, and Avatar Aang’s love lives, it seems like Avatars get one big love at first sight romance in their lives.

Korra likes Mako. And the show isn’t gunna be subtle about it just so the “rival” ships will be happy.

YES, Mako’s tangled up feelings and relationship with Asami are confusing and frustrating, but they are also incredibly relatable and understandable.

Please ship whatever you want. Hell, I ship TARRLOK AND TAHNO. I’m not here to dictate anyone’s ships. But all the ship hate? Bland, repetitive, and rather shallow.
