I understand you are an important figure.

“What if J.K. Rowling had Harry Potter die in the third book in the series because she wanted to

write other books?! That’s what Doyle did six years after Holmes first appeared. In 1893’s story,

The Final Problem, Sherlock Holmes was killed. Public outcry made

Doyle write more stories and bring the detective back to life.” [x]

GREETINGS, THE LOCK OF SHER

ღ <3

The detective had been sleeping all day. After a night of being chased across London by Moriarty’s men, Loki knew that Sherlock needed it. The detective was a magnet for danger, but that only made him more fascinating to the trickster. He watched the man sleep, the midday  sunlight illuminating his features, making Sherlock look like more of an angel than an annoying know-it-all. It was about time he woke up, Loki thought, placing a hand to the mortal’s shoulder. He leaned in and kissed the corner of Sherlock’s lips, softly at first, but when he realized just how much he wanted to see the detective’s sparkling eyes open, how much he wanted to hear his voice, Loki kissed harder, pressing his soft lips firmly against the other man’s. He felt him sigh and smile into the kiss, the detective finally stirring from his slumber. There in the warm sunlight, tangled beneath the sheets, their lips so lovingly intertwined, Loki had never been more grateful that Sherlock was alive.

“Good morning, love.”
