Shakira is Pregnant with First Child!
Shakira finally confirmed she is waiting for her first baby with boyfriend, soccer star Gerard Pique.
“As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby! At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days,” the singer, 35, wrote on her website.
Sources report Shakira and FC Barcelona player Pique, 25, are expecting a baby boy, who is due to arrive in January. The parents-to-be have already chosen a nickname for their bundle of joy, calling him Ulicito.
The Colombian star’s pregnancy was first reported in July, and picks of her baby bump surfaced since then, but it is only now when she confirmed pregnancy.
