So my fiction tutor (who is a man btw) is amazing.

  • So today we were discussing names for characters in Fiction class, and someone suggested Claire as quite a prim and proper name.
  • Guy: Yeah but I knew a claire, she was basically the school bike.
  • Tutor: Okay 1) you shouldn't classify that to all Claires and 2) Maybe this girl was just comfortable with her sexuality. If she was a guy she'd be applauded for the same thing and called a Stud or something.
  • Guy:
  • Every female in the class: *falls a little bit in love*
  • Tutor: Wait how did we get on to gender politics?
