working on my thesis and I come up with a topic that looks like this:
I am studying the fate of significant cultural objects in the Russian Federation during the period of the Soviet Union and their status today because I want to better understand the meaning and importance of these items to the Russian people’s culture and memory of their history in order to better analyze the major challenges of the international repatriation of material culture.
does that even make sense
question: what is my life?
answer: way too general and unspecific. not to mention lacking a total grip on the overall history of this subject.
at least I’m trying.

Senior Thesis
It’s only when you’re doing your outline for your essay, do you realize that maybe it won’t be so bad after all. Oh man, I thought this process would be a pain in the ass, but I’m only realizing how much I love my teacher for guiding us through on this. This outline is going to help so damn much :).

This movie was utterly fascinating—a supurb look at an issue that has interested me for years. I am now inordinately, rather nerdily, excited to write my senior thesis on America’s insatiable thirst for all things celebrity, paparazzi and the ethics of privacy.
