God, it was fucking cold out. How could you have been so stupid as to forget a jacket? There was snow on the ground, for crying out loud, and you knew it from the second you stepped outside. But now you were on the lawn of your best friend’s house, and there was really no use in going back.
Best friend. God, you wish you were more than that. You want him to be yours so badly. Sometimes the wanting drives you so fucking insane that you lose control of your emotions. When you lose control of your emotions, you mask everything with anger and violence. That’s never cool.
