LA's "Citizen X" Spreads its Message at SCOPE Basel

Continuing our look into Scope Basel 2013 talents, we begin our next post with a question:  What is my purpose? This is the question “Citizen X” will be posing to SCOPE Basel next week in one of their many murals (above) as a part of the Untitled Artists Exhibition from Los Angeles. Consisting of four contemporary artists, the unique collaboration aims to “initiate a text-based public dialogue” through their work. They are, in other words, openly communicating on signs and buildings what we as the community have been too afraid to say out loud all along.
