The Science of Love.

  • Find a complete stranger.

  • Reveal to each other intimate details about your lives for half an hour.

  • Then, stare deeply into each other’s eyes without talking for four minutes.

New York psychologist, Professor Arthur Arun, has been studying why people fall in love.

He asked his subjects to carry out the above 3 steps and found that many of his couples felt deeply attracted after the 34 minute experiment. Two of his subjects later got married.

I feel like I owe a lot to PBS Kids programs in the 90s

Bill Nye the Science Guy, Kratt’s Creatures, The Magic School Bus, Wishbone, Reading Rainbow… 

I mean, those were some fantastically educational kid’s shows. They taught me so much more than what I was learning in elementary school at the time. It feels silly to say so, but they definitely pushed me towards the path I’m on now. Bill Nye and the Kratt brothers in particular. They got me loving biology and zoology from a young age, man.
