drive to san luis obispo
viewing for my manong lester [whom i’ve never met]
spend the night there at a hotel
come back home sunday morning

i’ve never met him, but he’s my second cousin. he’s an only child & his dad is my mom’s first cousin, so that makes manong lester my second cousin. he’s not even three weeks older than me. my uncle passed away a few years ago from a stroke.
my manang ericka [second cousin] never met him & my manong kenneth [second cousin] knew him & told me to go there to visit manong lester & to say their goodbyes for them. even so if they didn’t tell me to go, i still would have gone cause he’s family.
& with uncle gone & now manong, auntie’s alone…ish. she remarried after uncle passed but still, she’s my auntie & i’m meeting her for the first time. going to go there & support because my mom is the closest one of all my uncle’s relatives that are going for manong lester. bah this just makes me sad. :[
