I’m talking about in 3x06 when Klaus compelled Stefan to go after Elena & he tried to fight against it, but eventually gave in. [You see, i acknowledge that Stefan tried to fight the compulsion! I don’t just hate on Stefan/Stelena and twist the facts around.]

And another thing - I don’t remember Damon telling Elena to stop being with Stefan, they ended because THEY AREN’T RIGHT. They don’t work together, their relationship has been hugely flawed since the very start, and most importantly, because Stefan HAS NEVER loved Elena for who she truly is, and WILL NEVER love Elena for who she truly is. [but somehow their breakup was FORCED by Damon! lol, idiots]
There is a passion to Elena, a fire that burns bright when she is allowed to actually be herself and enjoy the person she is. Elena not only WANTS to revel in her new freedom, she DESERVES to! Stefan doesn’t want to let Elena be herself. He wants to dim that fire inside of her, he wants to throw a huge bucket of water on the flames that burn so bright in her. Damon? Damon loves every single part of Elena - mind, body, soul. He wants her to be happy, he wants her to get everything she wants in life, and he will love her no matter what. As a human he loved and adored her, and now as a vampire the feelings have only increased.
There is no sire bond here, only love. A love that has been building since season, a love that has grown so much and keeps growing every single day. It’s a love that has already been proven to be very real and very deep, WELL BEFORE ELENA WAS A VAMPIRE!
