Ryan Murphy doesn't just hate lesbians; he hates women
If you can’t see that from his writing, then you’re fucking blind. Are there any actual likable lead female characters on his show? No.
- Quinn Fabray
Cheater, liar, manipulator - Rachel Berry
Diva, liar, manipulator, bitch - Sue Sylvester
Evil (why I love her, but still), conniving, bitch - Santana Lopez
Promiscuous, liar, bitch - Brittany Pierce
Promiscuous, liar, bimbo - Tina Cohen
Liar, boring - Emma Pillsbury
Helpless - Mercedes Jones
Diva, lonely, faghag - Terri Schuster
Liar, bitch, crazy
I don’t think we’re going see any positive female storylines unless they have a man as their savoir. It’s official; I give up on Glee.
Unpopular opinion
Whenever people say that season two was a Blaine/Darren-show and that Darren took up the majority of season two, I’m thinking back to that wonderfully edited video of all the klaine-scenes, which in the version I got, which includes the entire Kurt-is-going-to-Dalton-because-he-was-bullied-storyline, so even from before Blaine was introduced, is about two hours long. I think if you start out from Blaine walking down the stairs at Dalton and only put in the scenes where his face actually appears, it’s just a bit above an hour. and this is out of a season which adds up to nearly 17 hours of screen time in total (these numbers are approximate, I’m not that nerdy to calculate the exact times). in case you don’t know the definition for majority: two hours is not a majority when the total is 17. 9 hours would be a majority. 10 would be a majority. but 2? Nope.
And, one scene excluded, all the scenes with Blaine, involve Kurt in one way or another, yes even when he is blatantly singing every frikking Warblers solo. There’s Kurt either showing his infatuation with the guy or his annoyance with the guy.
I realize people who don’t like Blaine will have groaned every time he came on the screen and maybe thought it took forever until he left again. I also realize that some characters did not seem to have much of a storyline and most of their screen time was, unfortunately, reduced to waving a flag in the background or something. But a) that is in no way Darren’s fault, b) I’m pretty sure that if you edited all the scenes for each individual character together, their individual screen time would add up to quite a bit, most probably also two hours or even more, and c) this has from the beginning been a Rachel/Quinn/Finn/Kurt-show and that certainly hasn’t changed in the second season, in my humble opinion. maybe I’m just blind, but I’ve never seen anyone complain about that. the main focus always seems to have been on these four, and the rest of the cast haven’t had as much screen time and story lines as they did, even if people like Tina and Artie and Puck have been there from the beginning.
Since Blaine was part of the Kurt story line it might have seemed more than it did with other characters, but when you come to think of it, it really wasn’t. we barely know anything about his background, just like with Mike. we knew more about Sam’s background by the end of the season than we ever did about Mike’s or Tina’s or Santana’s. Ryan Murphy’s story lines are for the most part crap and that’s basically a fact. but so are a lot of story lines from other tv shows.
Yes, I like Darren Criss, so you might call me biased if you have to, but that doesn’t keep me from looking at this constructively and critically, and I just don’t like people constantly complaining about his massive amount of screen time, when there wasn’t even that much.
Quite possibly Ryan Murphy loves Darren and his voice and his performance talent to bits, but that’s not exactly Darren’s fault. I mean if I were Darren I’d take whatever the fuck I’m getting, happy about everything and anything and I’m pretty sure the rest of the cast are the same. Actors are attention-seeking people, or else they wouldn’t be actors.
(I think I got off point towards the end there. stopping rant now.)
Random dreams and lulzing over trolls...
So last night I dreamt about Darren Criss in speedos…
…it was going to happen sooner or later!
Then I spent the rest of my time lulzing at the fact Ryan Murphy told Alex to be more humble on the Glee Project (I am in the UK and therefore behind) I mean, talk about needing to take your own advice.

I noticed that too. WHATS GOIN ON
I like to think it’s nothing. I mean whats the worst that can happen? Sam transferred from Dalton and Blaine remembered him? Let’s hope that happens and nothing else. Seriously, if Ryan Murphy messes Klaine up he won’t have a scalp anymore. And he won’t be working that scalpless look too.

All I can say is that if RM fucks Klaine up, he’ll die before they reach Season 3.
RM fucks everything up. I had a horrible thought while watching Hey Soul Sister just now. What if Ryan Murphy kills Blaine and Kurt gets all sad and has a breakdown. OH MY GOD I DID NOT JUST SAY THAT. Okay. I didn’t say that. Aghhh. But seriously, Ryan Trollin Murphy needs to get his shit right.
