Rock. Steady.
Well.
After doing the college thing every chance I get, I have come to realize. It is time. Time to train, work, and develop myself to become a better leader for the soldiers I may lead. I went on a run this morning found myself thinking a lot of what I have been doing with my time. And I realize not all of it is beneficial. I want to not think of myself as a leader but BECOME one. In everything I do, in my actions, my thoughts, and decisions. I am going to have on of the greatest opportunity in the world soon. I will have the opportunity to lead soldiers into combat. The way my actions are right now are more of a college student not of a leader. It is time where I need to change, for myself, my future soldiers and their families. I have been given an amazing opportunity and I will not take it for granite. I came up with quote on my run.
“If your soldiers were to know you in college, would they still want to follow you?”-Joshua Flores
