Before Tim had left the Tower, he’d given Cassie this really stern look that reminded her strangely of her mother and mouthed, ‘Behave’ and Cassie had rolled her eyes because, come on.
He’d been gone for all of six seconds when Rose’s lips drew into a predatory sort of smirk and she had Cassie pushed up against the wall and Cassie thought that maybe this was what Tim had been warning against.
All her thoughts flew out the window, however, when Rose’s lips found that one spot on her neck and she could feel Rose grinning against her skin and everything was just Rose Rose Rose. Rose’s fingers had found their way into her hair and she tugged a little, nails gently scraping Cassie’s scalp, and then it was Rose who was up against the wall.
Cassie could feel the rise and fall of Rose’s chest against her own and there was that infuriating smirk again and Cassie leaned forward to catch Rose’s bottom lip between her own, teeth just barely grazing it. Rose’s smirk faltered and Cassie grinned, thinking that, yes, this was definitely what Tim had been talking about.
