Why the hell is there no action figure of Rory “Roranicus The Last Centurion” Williams/Pond?!!!
Seriously, he is a full-time companion, now; every full-time companion since the beginning of the revived series has had an action figure made of them. Why is Rory the exception?! How is this fair?! I don’t even collect action figures, Doctor Who-related or otherwise, and I am appalled by the lack of Rory.
And no, the fact that he spent two episodes as a plastic duplicate is NOT a valid excuse.

thinky thoughts on the mid-season finale
I think the reason Rory got to be so bamf in this episode was that the whole point of it was to build him up. The fake-out at the very beginning, where Amy was telling Melody about her father, “the last of his kind,” who “looks young but has lived for hundreds of years”, was one of my favorite parts of the whole thing. It highlights the similarities between Rory and the Doctor, but it also stresses that Rory is a powerful mythic figure now in his own right, and I think that’s something absolutely vital to establish before the end of the series.
