It baffles me when people are surprised that black people like rock music.

Elvis Presley, who many people regard as the king of rock and roll, copied most of his shtick from black folks. Let’s not even get into the black folks that had their music stolen by record execs so it can appeal to a larger(white) audience.

When people say “Oh, you listen to white music” or “Wow, didn’t think you’d be into that”…instant eye roll.
