Robot Master Art Collab #2 - Star Man

Since the first Robot Master quilt went swimmingly, the second collab has started as of today. Star Man definitely received the popular vote, so I believe we’ve got our character decided on!

Every Megafan is invited to contribute a drawing of Star Man, and each picture will represent a patch in a huge quilt. This will showcase everyone’s unique styles, interpretations, and takes on the same character. You’re free to use any drawing medium that you wish.

As an example of what the quilt will look like, here’s our last collab’s results.

There aren’t too many rules, but your drawn image:

  • must be 400x400 pixels in size
  • should focus on Star Man
  • cannot include any other Robot Masters or characters (may include stage enemies, elements, or other objects relating to Star Man as long as he is still the focus)
  • cannot be reused from an older drawing of Star Man, unless you’re making an improved version. Please only submit new images!

The current deadline for submitting your drawings, as well as editing previously sent in pictures, is March 5th. Two months were provided for the last collab, so I hope it will be sufficient time to get everyone’s entries finished. I will only extend the deadline if we have a number of drawings that doesn’t work well with the layout dimensions of the quilt. Feel free to post your separate picture online, add a signature, whatever you’re most comfortable with. All the drawings will be compiled once the collab is finished, and every artist will be fairly credited. Please spread the word if you can!

You may only submit one drawing for the collab. If you’ve submitted your drawing already and you want to revise/replace it just let me know. Holler at me with any questions and I’ll try to help.

As this was asked in the past and I’d like to provide clarification, you can send the picture to me however you like. You can post it on deviantArt, Tumblr, Photobucket, wherever. Just give me a link to a full-sized version of your entry. Be sure to let me know which site and username you would like to be credited with.

And as mentioned before, you can use any drawing program that you wish. Traditional art is awesome too. Really, just draw with what makes you feel most comfortable. We had a splendid time before and I want this event to be just as special.
