COSPLAYERS AND EVERYONE ELSE - SPREAD THE WORD.

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD.
Cosplay is NOT a competition. Cosplay is NOT about being “hot”.
Cosplay is about being REPRESENTATIVE OF CHARACTER and HAVING FUN.
In this example, no, neither of them look exactly identical to the character, but you can tell who it’s supposed to be immediately, and personally I think they BOTH look great.
However good the cosplay is, you NEVER have the right to judge which is “win” and which is “fail”. All that does is discourage people from public cosplay and give everyone the wrong impression of what it’s about.
Side note: It is entirely up to the model how much skin they show. A good cosplayer takes pride in cosplay and cosplays with dignity, whatever they wear. It is not up to anyone else.
Whatever you think “being hot” is, why should they have to tailor to what you like? The only people they should tailor to are THEMSELVES and THEIR CHARACTER.
“Conventionally good looking” people do not necessarily make good or bad cosplayers. THAT IS NOT THE POINT.
Sorry for the rant, but I cannot let this go on. How do you think the “fail” in this picture feels? She has done nothing wrong and I personally think she’s a great cosplayer, here. ~Jaz / L Ectricity / JazzyLCS (proud cosplayer)

Let’s show our support for Damien. The administration has no right to deny the established gender identity of this student. We want him to be able to walk at his graduation.
