I will never again buy ONE article of clothing from Urban Outfitters.

So, I saw on theunpopularopinions blog that someone said the founder of urban outfitters is anti-gay. I didn’t know what to think of that so I looked it up myself. I’ve literally been sitting her for an hour wallowing in more and more disgust as I click on more and more links. Not only are they anti-gay, they’re anti-black, anti-minority, anti-women, and anti-free choice! Its fucking sick! 

The founder of Urban Outfitters (Richard Hayne) and his wife donated $13,150 to Rick Santorum. RICK SANTORUM?! The man who wanted to outlaw fucking condoms? The man who said, “I don’t want to make black people’s lives better.” (Direct quote people). He’s a disgusting prick with no compassion for anyone except upperclass white men. 

Okay, lets ignore that. They’re also selling cute little Mitt Romney tshirts. Mitt Romney. The man who said that he can relate to blacks because his ancestors owned slaves. The man who said that blacks are freeloaders. Also against contraception and abortion. Also against gay rights.

Okay, lets ignore that. How about the shirt they had with a “black version” of the game monopoly on it. It was called “GHETTOPOLY” and one card on the shirt says, “You get your whole neighborhood addicted to crack. Collect $50.” 

WHAT. THE. FUCK. So you’re telling me every time I walked in that store I was unknowingly supporting the conservative agenda? Guys, we gotta start looking into the corporations we support. I learned the hard way. I will not give $1 of my money to Mitt Romney. I feel used, embarrassed, and pissed off. Its not okay to shop there and support conservative politics and conservative economic agendas just because they have cute high waist shorts and tie dye peace tanks. No, stop feeding into it. Don’t be a puppet.

But hey fellow blacks, shop there if you want. Just know that every time you shop there that entire corporation is laughing at you. AT US. I’m appalled and disgusted. Fuck that store and fuck Richard Hayne, the prick.

EDIT: By the way guys, this isn’t just for black people. Anyone who supports the notion that a person should be able to marry the person they love regardless of gender should be just as pissed off as black people! WOMEN TOO!
