These RFID tool tracking gates can be installed on existing trailers, or a business may purchase a 53-foot trailer already equipped with the RFID gate. RFID Equipped Hangers Make Shopping A More Interactive Experience (video)
Teamlab has unveiled a new style of clothing rail which is just debuted by Vanquish in one of their men’s stores in Tokyo and incorporates RFID tags into the hangers to create an interactive shopping experience. The hangers look the same as a normal hanger but with a larger head section which contains an embedded RFID chip
The RFID hangers are then positioned below a row of LCD monitors and as a garment is picked up by a customer the monitor will display additional images, movies and product information related to the clothing which is being viewed by the customer. Watch the clothing rail and RFID hangers in action after the jump.

If the customer replaces the clothing the LCD screen clears until another garment is selected and removed from the rail. The RFID hangers not only provide customers with data, they also provide the store with valuable stock information together with stat tracking details on which items have been viewed whilst on the rails.

Bootable live RFID hacking system

OpenPCD has been doing a lot of work with RFID hacking. They have a bootable Linux distro available to make exploration easier:
The bootable Live RFID Hacking System contains a ready-to-use set of hacking tools for breaking and analyzing MIFARE Classic RFID cards and other well known card formats. It is built around PCSC-lite, the CCID free software driver and libnfc that gives you access to some of the most common RFID readers. See our tutorial video for a quick introduction on how to break MIFARE Classic RFID card keys using our Live RFID Hacking System.
This ISO (663 MB, for 64 bit x86 hardware only) is based on Fedora Linux and is designed to work with many commercial RFID readers. (It appears that the common Parallax RFID readers are not supported.)
Note that no expensive hardware is needed: it is also designed to work with the above simple homebrew LF RFID sniffer frontend for USB soundcards. Visit OpenPCD’s RFID page for the ISO, schematic and all the docs and links.
You can view the video tutorial here.

Intel’s concept features an interactive primary screen so when a customer approaches the device it carries out a quick facial scan and displays products based on gender.
When a male approaches the screen, the device automatically displays products such as razor blades, for example. Users can interact with products via hand gestures, allowing them to bring up additional information, product reviews and related items.
