The Librarian
It is said that behind every myth is a part of the truth , especially if those myths seems to be affecting reality. After centuries Rem has collected pretty much of them. The most interesting ones were connected to the case of mythical libraries. One of them was believed to be the Egyptian Hall of Records. Of course magus search whole pyramids very carefully but only trace he found was one poor papyrus containing a list of some names which most propably were ancient books or whatever they were called in Egypt. The other trace of presence of such library were sudden growth of power and wisdom in some coutries like a group of people suddenly gained a lost knowledge. Rem was following such traces for ages, and now he landed in Japan which experienced some spectaular development of new techologies for last decades. Tracing urban legend pointed him to the torii gate at Itsukushima Shrine. During investigation he discovered small timespace distortion and managed to open a passage through the gate
Magus came out on a forest path that led him to a ancient looking stone building.
He stood a moment before a sign and read that this Place is a Sanctuary of Ancient knowledge guarded by Niko. He smiled and entered the place he was searching for so many years …..

And so I began to pray. I prayed every night to get better. And nothing changed. So I prayed harder. And after a while I realized it wasn’t that I wasn’t praying hard enough. It’s that no one was listening.
