Update on recovery
Okay so I never told you guys that I told my mom and dad everything I’ve been going through…cutting, starving, binging, purging EVERYTHING. My mom and I teared up and I told them separately. Both asked “didn’t that hurt?” And blamed themselves for my pain and self mutilation. I told them it had nothing to do with them, but how I feel about myself.
Anyways I’ve been watching Katy Morton’s videos on YouTube for eating disorder help too so I have plenty of support for myself now :) I felt a lot better telling my parents (at first I regretted it) bc I could reach for help when the bad thoughts come in.
I haven’t been posting my bad thoughts cause I never wanted to make you guys or anyone else think I’m weak, but I realize its all part of recovery. It’s normal to still have problems with my body and feeling full and bringing those feelings up front to confront them. Anyways if anyone wanted to know I’m just letting y’all in on how everything is going and ill try to make more personal posts. It could actually be very therapeutic :)
