My favorite makeup and beauty related books are Face Forward by Kevyn Aucoin, Making Faces by Kevyn Aucoin (the first beauty book I ever read) , Express Makeup by Rae Morris, Makeup Your Mind by NARS.
In the early days of PD I also did a thing called Beauty Bookshelf and reviewed this book.

My descriptions may sound cliche but just trust me on this one. Sorry if i come across as annoying. I kinda stole some parts from other descriptions but i want to be brief and sorry for my grammar

Two friends, Moe and Eiko who are inseparable but Moe is super pretty and the Eiko is plain. So when ever Moe is asked out her reply is ‘only if you put Eiko before me.

The main character Suiren Just started high school. She Is really pretty but really quiet, All the guys are looking her way, but there is one who doesn’t.

Any book recommendations?
Today I went to Barnes and Nobles and I wasn’t able to decide on anything. It’s slightly overwhelming to choose only one or two books from such a vast selection.. I went through almost every aisle and picked out a few books but I couldn’t make a final choice. I’m open to reading anything really and I think that’s what makes it so difficult to choose! I just want something that will put me on the edge of my seat.. something that will keep me from putting the book down. Thank you for any recommendations you might have!

Oh my god, it might just be because I’m a sucker for FACE family AUs, but this fic is adorable and everything fruk fan should read it. It’s brilliantly written and the characterisation is dead perfect.
