I love mail art, so I enjoyed this great cover of Esopus Magazine, and the interview with Robert Warner, a correspondent of Ray Johnson’s.  (There’s another photo if you click on the link to “Yesterday’s Mail.”)

I hadn’t realized that Mr. Johnson also interacted with his correspondents in ways outside the post, and that he was…  not always easy to understand.  I mean, I know how we creative types can be, but Mr. Johnson didn’t come at his topics directly, and conversations sometimes needed a while to make clear what topic they were on…
